Ford’s Co-Pilot360™ Standard and Available Features

null

BLIS® with Cross-Traffic Alert
Your Ford's BLIS®, or Blind Spot Information System, works as an extra set of eyes to help you stay alert while driving. It can detect nearby vehicles in your blind spot and alert you to their presence. Cross-Traffic Alert works similarly — it alerts you when you're backing out of a parking spot and have a vehicle or pedestrian behind you that you didn't see.

null

Lane-Keeping System
This handy feature scans the lines in the road to determine your vehicle's position and helps you stay in your designated lane. It'll alert you if you start to merge into another lane without signaling. And, if you've drifted multiple times, a coffee cup icon will pop up to suggest that you need a break from driving to recoup.

null

Pre-Collision Assist with AEB
Pre-Collision Assist scans the road ahead of you to detect potential collisions. It will alert you to change course or brake if it detects a potential collision. If you can't react in time, Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) will engage to help you take corrective action.

null

Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control
Speed Sign Recognition, Stop-and-Go, Lane Centering and Intelligent Adaptive Cruise Control are innovative features that can help you drive more responsively by slowing down or stopping your vehicle in coordination with the speed limits and speed of other vehicles in front of you.^

null

Evasive Steering Assist
While it doesn't take away control of your steering, Evasive Steering Assist can provide steering support if the system detects a potential collision ahead that requires some quick maneuvering to avoid.

null

Reverse Brake Assist
Much like Cross-Traffic Alert, Reverse Brake Assist detects stationary or moving objects behind your vehicle while you're in reverse and applies the brakes as needed to keep you from hitting them. It even detects vehicles moving as fast as 37 mph!

null

Rearview Camera
The rearview camera is a nearly universal feature for new vehicles, and it comes standard on practically every new Ford model. The display for your rearview camera can be found on your center touchscreen, and it works as an extra set of eyes to help you back up safely.

null

Active Park Assist 2.0
Everybody hates parallel parking. That's why Ford has Active Park Assist 2.0. This feature helps you locate potential parallel or reverse perpendicular parking spots and displays helpful prompts on your center touchscreen. It then takes control of the steering wheel, leaving you to work the brakes and gas, while maneuvering you into the parking spot.

null

Auto High-Beam Headlamps
When driving in low-light conditions or at night, Auto High-Beam Headlamps will automatically activate due to a sensor that detects low light. It can even switch between low and high beams when it detects oncoming traffic!

null

BLIS® with Trailer Coverage
BLIS® with Trailer Coverage is best paired with the capability of a Ford truck or SUV. This feature detects and alerts you to vehicles in your blind spot and your trailer's blind spot.

null

Pro Trailer Backup Assist™
This helpful feature is ideal for those heavy loads you haul in your trailer. When you need to reverse with the trailer attached (something even seasoned drivers will admit is a challenge), simply rotate the Pro Trailer Backup Assist™ knob as you back up and the feature will help guide you and your trailer in the direction you're trying to steer.

null

Hill Descent Control™
Yet another high-tech feature that is perfect for trucks and SUVs, Hill Descent Control™ equips you with additional confidence while you're driving down a steep hill or incline by maintaining your speed and automatically applying the brakes when needed for a steady descent.

There’s Even More

That's right — there's more! Ford has several safety features you can add to your Ford truck, sedan or SUV. If you're interested in adding even more safety features to your vehicle, you can add one of these to the configuration:

  • Trailer Sway Control
  • 360-Degree Camera
  • Rain-Sensing Wipers
  • Curve Control
